Overview:
As a successful Soccer Youth Coach, you will instruct, motivate, organize, and manage several teams during the Soccer Youth All-American Series events. Coaching in our All-American events come with a tremendous honor in being able to work with highly skilled players from all around the nation. Events are held in different markets of the United States with a different coaching staff in each market.

Our Soccer Youth brand gives individual youth soccer players the opportunity to represent their club and compete against other players from across the nation at amazing facilities in a tournament setting. Soccer Youth has become one of the most prestigious youth soccer events in the United States. Featuring the All-American Series events in over 18 national locations (United States and Canada) throughout the summer, players are given the opportunity to be selected as one of the TOP PLAYERS and be extended an invite to the premier event at the end of the year; the All-American Golden Cup in Naples, Florida and Mesa, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
- Be on time and prepared for training sessions AND all games
- Supervise practice sessions, making them positive and fun
- Make sure all players are game ready and legally equipped (i.e. shin guards, cleats, no earrings, etc.)
- Fill out stat sheets during games by keeping them accurate and consistent
- Gain knowledge of and training in management, coaching, and working independently when assisting with tournament staff
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while providing extraordinary customer service
- Create a fun, dynamic atmosphere for participants, developing camaraderie and acting as a positive role model
- During games, be inclusive, interactive, and involved. Coach for the experience of ALL players, not the performance of one individual
- Refrain from negative comments or expressions toward any players, coaches, officials, or parents.
- Uphold the values and brand standards established by Soccer Youth
- Be considered to work other Soccer Youth events at the conclusion of the summer, based on performance
Requirements:
- Prior coaching or playing experience at the collegiate, club, or professional level
- Coaching license D level preferred or equivalent license
- An outgoing, friendly personality, initiative, and high level of energy
- Prior experience working with children, exhibiting the ability to be patient and understanding
- Ability and willingness to physically perform all job responsibilities
Working Conditions/Special Physical Requirements:
- Regular lifting of heavy items of 20 pounds or more
- Exposure to extreme heat or cold
